Terms of service
Last updated: October 2026
Thank you for using My Starday. We wrote these terms to be clear and fair — not to hide behind legal language. If you have questions, use the contact form.
1. About the service
My Starday is a digital service for families who want structured daily schedules, to mark a child’s progress with stars, and to let the child follow activities in their own view. The service is for parents and guardians and their children. A family needs at least one adult (a parent) with an account. Children use a PIN to sign in to the child view.
2. Account and security
You are responsible for keeping your account and your information secure:
- Choose a strong password and do not share it
- Protect your email address — that is how you recover access
- The child-view PIN should be known only to the child and their guardians
- Do not use the app in a way that breaks Swedish law
You are responsible for all activity under your account, including if someone else uses it. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us straight away.
3. Children and personal data
My Starday handles information about children. We follow the GDPR and the principle of data minimisation:
- Children are identified only by a first name and a chosen emoji — no surnames, personal identity numbers or contact details
- Parents or guardians are responsible for registering the child’s details and approving any sharing
- We do not use children’s data for marketing, or for anything other than running the service
- Reports and schedules are shared only if a parent actively chooses to share a time-limited link
If you want to remove a child’s data, you can delete it from your own account. That permanently removes the linked data.
4. Content you create
Schedules, rewards, activities and observations you add to the service belong to you (or your family). You give us the right to store and display that content while your account is active. We do not copy it, sell it, or use it in marketing.
5. Use
The service is for personal, private use in your family. The following is not allowed:
- Using the service commercially without an agreement with Papa Bravo AB
- Trying to manipulate schedules, stars or rewards other than through the app’s normal flows
- Using automated tools, scrapers or bots against the service
- Publishing or sharing content that is illegal, offensive or harmful to other people
6. Ending the account and deletion
You can permanently delete your account at any time. Do this under Settings → Delete account in the app and confirm with your password.
Deletion removes all of your data immediately and permanently: the parent account, all children, schedules, activity logs, stars, rewards and any educator observations.
We may suspend an account that is used in breach of these terms or Swedish law.
7. Price
Families in Ireland and Canada can use My Starday free until 31 December 2026. No payment is required during the free period. The free period does not automatically become a subscription. From 1 January 2027 you can choose a subscription in the App Store or Google Play. There is no web checkout on this page. In other countries, the price and access period shown in the app for that country apply. Swedish families who start from 3 October 2026 can try the app for 14 days, then choose 59 SEK per month or 590 SEK per year in the app. Families who already have an account keep their existing offer.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when needed — for example after a change in the law, new features, or a clarification. If a change is material (for example how we handle personal data), we tell you by email or with a notice in the app.
If you keep using the service after an update, you are treated as having accepted the new terms.
9. Liability
My Starday is provided as is. We do our best to keep the service stable and secure, but we cannot guarantee that it is always available without interruption.
Papa Bravo AB is not liable for:
- Loss of data caused by force majeure (power cuts, natural disasters and similar events)
- Harm caused by you sharing a PIN or sign-in details with someone who should not have them
- Indirect damage, lost business opportunity or lost data, unless Swedish law requires otherwise
You are responsible for using the service in line with these terms and Swedish law.
